Ron Paul is a congressman from Texas. he is well known in the congress for his consistent voting record. Consistence is what America needs. However, consistence is only good if the right choice are made to begin with. I believe Ron Paul has this ability. Ron Paul has been a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. therefor, he knows the art of war from experience. I believe that if a president has experience with war, they are able to run the country better. Ron strongly agrees with pro-life and pro-family values, which America has seem to have lost in the last few decades. Ron also believes in minimal federal taxes, federal spending and is a firm believer in regulation.
Ron Paul believes in Jesus Christ as his own personal savior. however he does not discriminate against those who do not believe. although he is a believer he feels as if this subject is met to be private. to me Ron Paul seems to be the perfect candidate. he has experience in government, and war. his political views also seem to match the majority of America's peoples.

1. Remember the last president from Texas?
2. Consistency means nothing without the partisan power and funding to exclaim and display it across America.
3. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are making Americans nervous about combining religion and politics. Subjective morality exists for a reason.
4. Libertarianism is viewed as the antithesis of action in the wake of economic upheaveal amongst many uncertainities. "There are no Atheists in foxholes."
5. Ron Paul has yet to learn Machiavelli's timeless lesson; "The end justifies the means.
It will be interesting to see who gets the Republican nomination, but I think Ron Paul is trailing in needed points.
